Asbestos Awareness

Who is it for?

This course is for anyone who works on the fabric of buildings built prior to the year 2000, including anything from basic maintenance to large scale refurbishment. Workers at both operative and supervisor levels that require Asbestos Awareness training have been identified by the HSE; General Maintenance Staff, Electricians, Plumbers, Gas fitters, Painters and Decorators, Joiners, Plasterers, Demolition Workers, Construction Workers, Roofers, Heating and Ventilation Engineers, Telecommunication Engineers, Burglar and Fire Alarm Installers, Computer Installers, Architects, Building Surveyors, Shop Fitters and other such professionals.

This course meets the training requirements of regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

How long is it?

Half Day (3 – 4 hours)

Classroom – Places are limited to 15 delegates per course and can be held throughout the UK at a venue of your choosing to keep disruption to your business to a minimum.

Virtual Classroom (Teams or Zoom) – Places are limited to 10 delegates per course

Upon completion delegates will receive a certificate of attendance  bearing the UKATA logo.

Refresher Training

A refresher training course in line with the training requirements of regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 is available.
